In December, Finnish singer Tarja Turunen came to Moscow to give a concert with a symphony orchestra. Tarja is one of the most popular vocalists of the symphonic-metal music genre. At the same time she has a fabulous mezzo-soprano, and often performs opera. She is best known as the former lead singer of symphonic metal band Nightwish, which she founded along with Emppu Vuorinen & Tuomas Holopainen in 1996. She now devotes her time to her solo career. During her visit to Moscow, Tarja stayed at the Golden Apple Boutique Hotel.
